Do I need an appointment?
In order to best serve you we highly recommend you call or email to schedule an appointment with a member of our team. Even if you aren't ready to start your home project and just have a few preliminary questions or want to browse our collections, we still suggest calling ahead to ensure the best possible team member will be available to assist you.
How long will my project take?
Every project is unique and there are a lot of factors that may effect the timeline. A kitchen remodel can take as little as four weeks to as much as five months depending on the complexity of the build, product supply, obtaining permits, etc... Once you've settled on a design our team will estimate a timeline for you based on the project requirements.
Countertops usually finish in one day on site. Larger kitchen and bathroom projects take 6-8 weeks on average.
Do you offer Design-Only services?
Yes. Our in-house architect and 3D rendering expert can help you design your dream kitchen (or bathroom, or pantry, or dining room, etc...) and provide you with the prospective plans. If you decide to wait and do the project later or even try to tackle it yourself, you will have a solid start. Our design fee is $180/hr with a $500 minimum which includes a project binder to keep you organized as you work. We have found that this approach gives the client a lot of clarity to make the best decisions for their home.
Who is Willow?
Willow is our office cat. She is a sweet gal who was found in a parking lot by our Project Ninja, Colton. She has made our showroom her home where she is spoiled by everyone on our team as well as visitors.
What if I have my own contractor I want to use for the construction and installation?
We appreciate your interest in collaborating with your preferred contractor for the construction and installation phase. However, it's important to note that we typically operate as a full-service design and build firm, which means that we handle both the design and construction aspects of the project.
Our integrated approach ensures that the design vision we create is seamlessly executed during construction, resulting in a cohesive and efficient process. We have a team of skilled professionals who work closely together to bring your project to fruition, and this approach allows us to maintain a high level of quality control and accountability throughout the entire process.
If you're open to exploring the benefits of our comprehensive design and build services, we'd be delighted to discuss how our expertise can streamline your project and ensure a successful outcome. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional results that align with your vision and needs, and we believe that our integrated approach offers many advantages in terms of design continuity, efficiency, and quality.
Do you employ your own tradesmen and installers?
Our EKB team currently consists of designers, wood workers, painters, drywall installers, cabinetry and tile experts. If we don't have someone in-house to fulfill part of your project, we have fostered excellent relationships with local experts and tradesmen who we work with frequently.
What cabinet, tile and plumbing fixture brands do you work with?
We work with only the highest quality brands to ensure the durability and logevity of your build. Some of our most popular brands include Vetrazzo, Mouser Cabinetry, Kohler, Top Knobs, and Perring & Rowe. Take a look towards the bottom of our homepage for a longer list of preferred associate brands or make an appointment to visit our showroom and take a look at samples.

We offer turn key appliance services included in our kitchen remodels. We specify, oversee and manage warranty issues for a 15% markup over trade costs.
